Golden Milk is the same as ginger and turmeric elixir milk. I love it in the afternoon or even at night. It keeps my energy levels flowing, but I can go to rest when my body needs it. It is the best anti-inflammatory concoction and a great way to boost your metabolism. Like the raw cacao milk, I use the same recipe and depending on the weather or how I feel, I either have it cold over ice or warm it up on the stove.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup turmeric
1/4 cup ginger
1 cup homemade almond milk or coconut milk
1 tablespoon raw honey
Pinch of black pepper
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in the blender, blend until smooth, serve warm or ever ice.
